To Die For Vinaigrette!

Italian DressingLast week I was able to get chocolate out of my system with the Wacky Bars recipe. However, Doc and I have decided we probably need to be eating more salads (no doubt to balance out the consumption of Wacky Bars.) Consequently, it was time for me to fix up a batch of my dear sister-in-laws infamous Vinaigrette!

May I share?

Vinaigrette Dressing

Ingredients:

2 Cups Oil (Canola or Safflower, sometimes I do 1 Cup Canola and 1 Cup Olive Oil)

3/4 Cups Vinegar

4 tsp Sugar

4 tsp Salt

1/4 tsp Black Pepper

1/4 tsp Dill Weed

Clove of Garlic

Crushed Red Pepper

Mix all ingredients (I use a small wire whip). Place in dispenser of choice. (Here’s a link to a nifty bottle.)

That’s it sweet DoAheads. Dress your salad with it or use it for “dippin’ sauce” with raw veggies like our tribe does.
