I know. I really need to share a Marinara sauce that goes with the deeelish Italian Meatballs I posted two weeks ago. (A few of you emailed or messaged me on FaceBook for it.) BUT Easter is right around the corner and this orange jello salad is an amazing compliment to your beautiful Ham or Turkey Easter dinner. So…I pinky swear promise the Marinara will be featured in next Wednesday’s DoAhead Dining post.
In the meantime? Three cheers for a nummy, no brainer salad that can be easily done ahead!

May you and yours have a blessed Easter dinner!
{* A tiny disclaimer. This recipe was originally titled, Orange Jello Salad. It was in my mother’s recipe box and was given to her by a dear friend. It was one of her Easter favorites so it seemed only fitting to dub the cheery, Easter morn dish “Sunrise Salad.”)
Your DoAhead Friend,
Now that’s my kind of salad. 🙂
Happy Easter!
