Caramel Corn 1

Yes. I’m still on the corn “thing”. Forgive me?

This time the sweet treat involves a little brown sugar. Messy to make. But a mess worth making! [Read more…]

Pumpkin Bars

Homemade Bars 3

Happy Labor Day!

I came close to posting a simple “Howdy doody I hope you’re having a great Labor Day!” but then I decided the day off might lend you an opportunity to bake. If that is the case than, girlfriend, you NEED this recipe.

Truth is I can hardly take it. Fall is SO close. My sons tell me I can’t light the pumpkin candle yet. They are still trying to eek out a few more summer activities. They’ve got seven days and than I’m lighting my candle regardless. [Read more…]

Easy-To-Make Dump Bars {Kid-Friendly!}

Dump BarI still remember how crazy life was when I lamented to my friend “I need a chocolate bar recipe that’s fast and easy.”

My kids were much smaller but each was headed a million directions— all at a million miles an hour. Of course, that didn’t stop the need for treats at school or a friends slumber party. A box mix is great in a pinch but sometimes one hankers for variety! [Read more…]

Coffee Ice Cream

Coffee Ice Cream 1

I’m wasting time! Check out the recipe and get this bad boy in the freezer. You (AND your guests) will be glad you did!

Recipe Notes

No hidden DoAheads for this recipe other than the fact that it's a frozen treat and it will last in the freezer. However, unless you are feeding mice it won't last long. My tribe of five could pound it down in one sitting. If you want to turn this into a DoAhead double or triple the batch!
