Raspberry Recovery Detox Drink
This simple fruit and veggie smoothie is jam-packed with nutrients. It works well as a detox drink but it’s health benefits could be enjoyed any time!

  1. Blend all ingredients. (A household blender or Magic Bullet work perfectly.) The original recipe calls for Almond butter instead of Coconut oil. I made the substitution secondary to an almond allergy. It tasted great but obviously either ingredient will work! Also, the flax is gluten-free. A plus for anyone who needs to honor a GF diet.

Fun fact: recent research has shown that raspberries “improve the management of obesity” (The┬ámetabolism in our fat cells can be increased by phytonutrients found in raspberries.) My personal appreciation for raspberries stems from their anti-inflammatory properties. Works wonders for achy joints and headaches!
