Sauteed Celery & Nuts

This recipe is so stinkin’ simple I’m almost embarrassed to share it. However, until a friend gave me the quick verbal run-down on this simple side-dish I had never thought to try it!

You’ll need a whopping four ingredients (plus salt and pepper) and about 15 minutes of time.

The result? A crunchy, healthy veggie to accompany virtually any entree’.

Instructions
  1. Combine onions and celery, Saute' in oil until tender. (10 to 15 minutes). Salt and pepper to taste. Add nuts several minutes prior to serving.
Recipe Notes

You may substitute the Pecans with your choice of nuts. We've tried pine and almond as well. All good! If you know your prep time will be limited, or you simply want to focus on the guests in your home, a good DoAhead would be to dice and store the celery and onions prior.
