  1. Combine onions and celery, Saute’ in oil until tender. (10 to 15 minutes). Salt and pepper to taste. Add nuts several minutes prior to serving.

You may substitute the Pecans with your choice of nuts. We’ve tried pine and almond as well. All good! If you know your prep time will be limited, or you simply want to focus on the guests in your home, a good DoAhead would be to dice and store the celery and onions prior.
