You got it sisters. I’m talkin’ morning magic, sunrise sunshine, percolated pleasure. C-O-F-F-E-E… the  stuff that get’s me out of bed in the morning.

This DoAhead Woman didn’t start drinking the ebony elixir until she hit 40. My consumption of it in the past decade has more than made up for my late start.

I can’t imagine beginning my day without a cup.

But wait!

Today’s DoAhead Dining recipe makes way for further imbibing on a hot summer day. Enter…Iced Coffee!

This recipe is an absolute no-brainer (which of course explains why it works so well for me.)

Iced Coffee

Ingredients:

4-6 cups, double strength Coffee

1 can  Eagle Brand Milk

1 quart Chocolate Milk

Combine ingredients, chill and serve! (This is a great one  to make the day before. Remember, it will take a while for the brewed coffee to chill. Storing it in the fridge overnight isn’t necessary but works best.)

    • Doc asked, “What’d you do all day?” I had to be honest and ‘fess that I watched that cartoon clip 5 times. Laughed out loud every time! And yes…the iced coffee truly is delicious!
